Terror Within & Terror Without!

The United States military is fighting terror around the world, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan. But could the military or para-military institutions like the Police Forces within the USA fight terror successfully? This is the question currently!

Almost every day we hear, read, and see on television some family killing each other, some college kid killing some other college kids, or some disgruntled lover or former lover, killing his spouse or former lover. So I ask myself these questions.

* Is this current phenomenon going to continue indefinitely?

* Does it warrant some form of national policy or agenda, for dealing with this crisis?

* And what category would be appropriate for this phenomena?

I hope that the current political candidates are taking serious note of this, and is prepared to address this problem in some form or other, that would make it a national agenda issue!

Be Careful What You Hope For!
WORD-UP:

Republican candidate John McCain said today publicly, that he hopes that Fidel Castro meets with Karl Marx very soon. Incidentally, Karl Marx was the writer of the famed philosophy titled 'Das Kapital,' or The Communist Manifesto.

Could you imagine that?

John McCain and Fidel Castro are just a few years apart in age. And it is more likely that John McCain may see his maker long before Fidel does, after this campaign. And he has the temerity to make such a public declaration.

It reminds me of Senator Barack Obama's statement when he said, that the mentality in Washington was that of Egocentrism or Cultural Egocentricity. And John McCain expresses that with his remark quite aptly.

Symposium In New Orleans For Prominent Black Americans!

Black American radio and television personality Tavis Smiley, is hosting a symposium in New Orleans this weekend to highlight the pressing needs of those who are still suffering from hurricane Katrina and Rita's disaster in that state, and Louisiana.

It was expected that Senator Barack Obama would attend that conference. But unfortunately he would be on the campaign trail, in this almost final leg and crucial stage. I hope Tavis Smiley and the other organizers realize how un-timely this meeting is. And would forgave Barack Obama for not being able to attend.

I also hope that Senator Barack Obama would send his best regards, and inform them that he has the interests and concerns of this constituency in his mind, as he campaigns currently.

Talk about un-timely!

The Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama Debate In Texas-2008!

This was a true debate. Much more in keeping with the nature of a debate. And is the best debate between these two candidates so far. It was civil, respectful, and each candidate stated more clearly, (especially Senator Obama), the specifics of each their proposals. The universal health care coverage was the most spirited between the two. But Senator Clinton continues to use her past performances and record in public life as the qualifying agent for the nomination.

Unlike Senator Barack Obama, who feels that he has the judgement that makes for a true and effective leader and Commander In Chief. This he explained when making the point about the decision by president George W. Bush to go to war with Iraq. And the consequences of that war, which hinged primarily upon the failure to bring it to a successful end.

At the end of the debate, Hillary made a very moving statement about their roles in this campaign, and her admiration for Senator Barack Obama's campaign and abilities!

Rush Limbaugh and The New York Times Are One & The Same!

I was never a supporter of republican candidate John McCain. Nor do I condone this malicious article published by the New York Times about some alleged compromises between John Mc Cain, and some female Lobbyist some years ago in Washington-DC.

When a so-called credible news media outlet allows itself to ignore objective and credible journalism, and indulge in GHETTO slandering and propaganda of someone they do not like. Then the question to be asked now is.

How credible is the New York Times in relation to the news that it circulates. When the elements of probity and rectitude have been totally ignored in it's reporting?

Media outlets and media personages like these should be put on BLAST for these acts of journalistic garbage and mis-information!

It Is Time To Throw In The Towel Hillary!

I have been following this campaign very carefully, and I think that Senator Hillary Clinton should throw in the towel at this point in the race. She has had too many losses to make any significant difference on the road ahead. And according to the current momentum that Senator Barack Obama is experiencing right now. She may also lose most of the states to come also.

This has gone on long enough, and it would be prudent to surrender now, and save a lot of FACE, than continue to fight a losing race, only to be humiliated BIG TIME in the process.

Is this the End Of The Beginning-Or The Beginning Of The End.?

The movement of voters right now is towards Barack Obama, and this trend will continue!

US Hypocrisy On Rwanda's Genocide!

When Rwanda was having that genocidal slaughter en-masse. The US did nothing to intervene, even when Kofee Anan (UN Secretary General) at that time, tried so hard to push the US and the world to act on that situation.

Now George W. Bush is telling Rwandans that the genocide was a horrible act, and he sympathizes with their losses.

Fidel Castro Defied America For Decades & Lives!

CNN today is saying that Fidel Castro irritated the US for decades. This statement if GROSSLY INCORRECT.

Fidel Castro does not, or never had the wherewithal to do any such thing to the United States governments.

What he may have done un-consciously, is to EVADE the umpteen threats and conspiracies to assassinate him, during the decades he has been in power.

That is what is so remarkable about him. He defied the world's utmost super power, and lives!

Defining The Presidency & The commander In Chief!

It seems like the media is placing more emphasis on the role of "The Commander In Chief," than they are placing on The Presidency.

* The Commander In Chief of the US armed forces, is embodied in the person or the president. That is his or her role over the US Armed Services, in war and in peace.

* The president is the Chief Administrator in the White House, which is based in Washington-DC. He or she is responsible for US foreign affairs, the State Department, the appointing of Judges for the Supreme Court, and vets all legislation that passes the House and Senate after ratification.

These roles are equally important, and the person who is elected to the office of the presidency, does not necessarily have to have a military or business background!

The US media, especially CNN is now making divisive comments about Barack Obama's quotes of certain American personalities in his speeches.

For example:

* I Have A dream:

These are just some of the quotes that CNN anchors are claiming, that he should have mentioned the SOURCE whenever he uses them.

Is This For Real?

Just how PETTY could anyone get? If a speaker has to refer to the source of every quote, it will kill the substance or gist for his or her intent on using that quotation.

And we all at some point use quotations that we love in verbal, and written communication every day!

CNN-FOX News & The Others Are So DUMB!

Yes, CNN-Fox news and other US media keep asking themselves and others the following.

* Why is Mike Hukabee still in the Republican race?

Mr. Hukabee has said on television UMTEEN times already, that he will be in the race until the end. And that means when any one of these candidates reaches the FINAL targeted amount of delegates to qualify for the nomination.

And that's that!

So I get annoyed every time I hear CNN and others keep debating this DUMB question on TV, when it has already been established, that Mike Hukabee will be in the race to the finish.

Get a life CNN-Fox news and others PLEASE.
